Today at Pete’s Roundup, we had the opportunity to connect with UTEP students, share GWEP’s resources, and inspire the next generation to help strengthen support for our aging population. 💙 We’re excited to keep building awareness, connection, and a community that cares for every generation!

A huge congratulations to our Program Director, Dr. Guillermina Solis, on receiving the President’s Meritorious Award at today’s President’s Convocation! 🎉👏🏽

This award honors a faculty member whose teaching, service, or career has made a significant impact on students, colleagues, and the university community through mentorship, innovative teaching, program development, and meaningful contributions to the university’s mission.

We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Solis’ leadership, dedication, and the lasting impact she continues to make. This recognition is so well deserved, and we are honored to celebrate this achievement with her! 💙✨

Today, we brought Dementia Live® to the Department of State Health Services! 🧠💜 Through this immersive experience, participants gained a better understanding of what it can feel like to live with dementia and the importance of empathy, patience, and person-centered care. Thank you to everyone who joined us and took the time to learn alongside us!
