Hello friends, our Annual Walk to Remember at Eastwood (Album) Park on Sunday morning October 11, 2026, is up on us; in fact, it’s this very weekend! Look for our canopies and banner as you arrive (suggesting 9:30-9:45) so you can stop by our tables to get your “Remembrance” bib showing who you are remembering as you walk. For those of you who have a Memory Board, please bring it with you to be displayed in our 2026 Memory Garden. If you already have a wire stand for your board, please bring it along also. After a short welcome, we will head out under the balloon arch for one lap around the park and when everyone gets back, we’ll gather around for the dove release. For the balloon release, please remember to bring only helium-filled latex balloons. Do Not bring the silver, decorated mylar balloons for the release; only latex balloons can be released. We would absolutely love for you to bring a picnic lunch and drinks for your family to hang around and visit with us over lunch after the event has wrapped up. We’ll see you on Sunday the 11th. SEPTEMBER MEETING
Let us welcome you to the September meeting of the Compassionate Friends-El Paso, Thursday, September 24, 2026, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in our meeting room at First Baptist Church, 805 Montana, in El Paso. We encourage you to bring a picture of your loved one to introduce to the group as we walk together and offer hope and understanding to each other on our journey. Unite with us as we share about and honor our children in an accepting, non-judgmental atmosphere. TCF is here to support you, so you never have to walk alone. 2026 Walk to Remember
Our Annual Walk to Remember is just around the corner. Join with us on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Eastwood/Album Park as we take one “Remembrance” lap around the park in honor of our children who left us too soon. Please arrive early enough (9:30-9:45) to stop by our table before the event begins. We will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a short welcome before heading under the balloon arch to begin the walk. If you plan to bring balloons to release, please use only helium filled latex balloons. Please Do Not Release the silver, decorated mylar balloons for the release.
