At least three individuals burglarized a convenience store in East El Paso. Crime Stoppers of El Paso is assisting the El Paso Police Department in asking for the community’s help in identifying these burglars through the Crime of the Week.

On Sunday, May 31, at 3:50 A.M., two suspects walked towards the front doors of the Howdy’s store located at 1130 Joe Battle. The store was clearly closed, and the pair pulled on the doors until they were able to force them open. Once inside, the duo stole several alcoholic beverages and fled in an awaiting vehicle, driven by a third suspect. They fled eastbound on Rojas Drive. One suspect wore a black hood and mask, a white hooded jacket with a black logo on the back and accents, blue denim jeans, and dark shoes. The Other suspect wore a black mask, a white hooded jacket, black pants, and red shoes. The vehicle is possibly a gray Dodge Magnum.

El Paso Police Seek tips on a suspect who pointed a gun at security guards.

On June 7, at 12:27 p.m., a group was involved in a minor altercation at Roma Bar, at 7470 Cimarron Market Ave. in West El Paso. As the group was being escorted out, one individual took out a handgun and pointed it at multiple security guards.

The suspect fled the scene in a Chevrolet Silverado (color unknown). He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, red dress shirt, black jeans, and black sunglasses.

Suspect Description:

Hispanic male
Approximately 30–35 years old
Height: 5'8"–5'9."

A hit-and-run driver left a man seriously injured in Northeast El Paso. Crime Stoppers of El Paso is assisting the El Paso Police Department in asking for the community’s help in identifying the driver responsible through the Crime of the Week.

On Sunday, March 1, at 2:29 A.M., a man parked his truck in front of a home on the 4500 block of Hercules. As the man exited the truck, a grey vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed struck the 58-year-old and fled. According to witnesses, the vehicle was last seen westbound on Hercules crossing Dyer. Security cameras in the area captured the vehicle involved. The victim was seriously injured and taken to the hospital. Investigators from the El Paso Police Department found evidence at the scene that revealed that the vehicle that fled is a gray colored 2019 to 2025 Volkswagen Jetta. Due to the crash, the vehicle will have damage to the right front bumper and passenger door mirror.

A man armed with a knife robbed a motel in El Paso’s Mission Valley. Crime Stoppers of El Paso is assisting the El Paso Police Department in asking for the community’s help in identifying this violent robber through the Crime of the Week.

On Thursday, May 7, at 3:57 A.M., a man wielding a knife walked into the Quality Inn located at 900 N. Yarbrough. The man jumped over the counter and threatened the employee with the knife. The armed robber began to take money from the cash drawer and jumped back over the counter to leave. The man fled in a red colored SUV on Gateway East. He is described as being approximately 5’11” in height, of a medium to large build. He wore a light-colored hooded jacket, a black facemask, black gloves, dark colored pants, and brown shoes.
