Strong downtown businesses contribute to the economic vitality, culture, and sense of community that make El Paso unique.

This month's CBA Behind the Business feature highlights Park Tavern and owners Danny and Gabi Heredia. Since opening in 2017, Park Tavern has established itself as a premier Downtown destination, offering elevated dining, handcrafted cocktails, meeting area, a rooftop terrace, and a welcoming atmosphere that brings together professionals, residents, visitors, and community leaders.

From daily happy hour and all-day happy hour on Thursdays to half-off wine bottles on Wednesdays and a rooftop terrace overlooking Downtown El Paso, Park Tavern continues to invest in creating memorable experiences while contributing to the growth and vibrancy of our urban core.

At the Central Business Association, we believe thriving businesses build thriving communities. Through leadership, connection, advocacy, and economic development, we are proud to highlight the entrepreneurs and business owners who help strengthen Downtown El Paso and move our region forward.

Ongoing efforts focus on maintaining low-cost options, free evening parking, and accessible public lots and garages to keep downtown easy to navigate and welcoming for visitors, residents, and customers.

Compared to other major Texas markets, El Paso remains one of the most cost-effective downtown parking environments.

Connection. Collaboration. Community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Central Business Association May Luncheon. It was an incredible afternoon bringing together business leaders, community partners, elected officials, and members from across the Borderplex to strengthen relationships and continue important conversations about the future of our region.

A special thank you to our guest speaker, Mayor of Las Cruces, New Mexico Eric Enriquez, for sharing insight, leadership, and vision for regional growth and collaboration. We also extend our appreciation to our members, sponsors, and guests who continue to support the mission of the CBA and the growth of Downtown El Paso and our business community.

At CBA, we believe meaningful connections create lasting impact, and yesterday was a true reflection of that mission.
