🌟 Did You Know? 🌟 El Paso's Franklin Mountains served up extra magic this week 🌈 Nature's masterpiece, painted in light! Rainbows are actually optical illusions that appear when sunlight strikes drops of water in the air in a particular way. Thank you to the person who shared these beautiful photos on the Nextdoor community page - A perfect display of science in nature!

Stars Aligned in El Paso — What a Night!

Last night, our community came together to celebrate Juneteenth with a FREE screening of Hidden Figures — and you all made it truly unforgettable.

A huge thank you to our incredible special guests who brought the story of Hidden Figures to life and led us through one of the most meaningful post-film discussions we've ever had. Your voices, your wisdom, and your passion made the evening shine.

....and the best part? It actually happened.
Our young explorers headed out to the simulated archaeology site — buried beneath the desert floor and designed entirely by the INSIGHTS team — and dug in like real field archaeologists.
They excavated. They analyzed. They uncovered. They also wove their own cattail creations, made petroglyphs, and decorated excavated pottery sherds to take home as fridge magnets.
Real inquiry, real discovery, real science — in the tradition of the Borderland, for the students of the Borderland. This is what STEAM education looks like. This is what we do. 🏺🔍
