Guest speaker announcement 🗣️

Chad Lozano is a longtime New Mexico cannabis advocate, educator, and podcast host who’s been deeply involved in shaping the state’s cannabis laws and culture for more than a decade. His work helped advance key reforms—serving on Senate Memorial 105, a governor’s task force that modernized medical cannabis laws, and contributing to the language of the Cannabis Regulation Act, which legalized cannabis in New Mexico in 2021. Chad also played a key role in recent advocacy efforts to protect and save cannabis drive-thrus, preserving access and convenience for patients and consumers across the state.

A veteran and several-time award-winning advocate, Chad’s focus has always been on education, access, and fairness. He continues to push for transparency in regulation and fights against efforts to close licensing in the cannabis industry, ensuring that small businesses and patients aren’t left behind. Through his podcast, Ask Chad: Grassy Logic, he brings real conversations to the community, exploring policy, plant medicine, and the people driving change in New Mexico and beyond.

In addition to his cannabis work, Chad is also an advocate for the responsible study and therapeutic use of psilocybin, supporting efforts to build a medical framework for natural medicine in New Mexico.

Chad is one of the founders of a grassroots discussion group informally known as Industry Sesh, which connects people from across the cannabis industry to share experiences, identify problems, and develop community-driven solutions. Whether speaking at the Capitol, in classrooms, or on stage, Chad Lozano remains a driving force for patient rights, small business inclusion, and the freedom to heal naturally.
