CASFV was incorporated in 1977 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization governed by a board of directors serving the tri-county area of El Paso, Hudspeth, and Culberson counties. Guiding CASFV in its mission to confront and prevent domestic violence in all its forms by advocating for safety and justice through intervention, education, and community collaboration is Executive Director, Sandra Nevarez G

arcia. To this end, CASFV addresses family needs in times of emergency and works to rebuild families by providing the needed guidance and resources to put them back on the road to a healthy recovery.

Our first-ever CASFV Summer Tennis Camp is a WRAP and what an experience it was!

From picking up a racket for the first time to rallying on the court, the children from our center showed up, worked hard, and had an amazing time. We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of them!

None of this would have been possible without the generosity of Coach Mike Bezemek and the Socorro High School Tennis Team. Thank you for being champions , on and off the court. Your commitment to our community means everything to us.

To our participants, coaches, volunteers, staff, and sponsors, THANK YOU. You are proof that when a community comes together, beautiful things happen. This was just the beginning, we'll be back in July for round two!

BIG NEWS! CASFV is launching its first-ever Summer Tennis Program for survivors!

Thanks to a $3,000 grant from the Southwest Tennis Foundation, including support from the Greater El Paso Bob Poley Memorial Fund, women, men, and children receiving services at our Emergency Shelter and Family Resource Center will have the opportunity to learn tennis this summer.

Each session includes lessons, practice, and a mini tournament on the final day. We're expecting 30 children and 15 adults to participate in this exciting new program!

Sports have the power to heal — reducing stress, building confidence, and creating community. We are so grateful to the Southwest Tennis Foundation for investing in our survivors. 💙
