Thank you to all who made it out last night!!! We had a great turnout! We missed all those who couldn’t join us! Next year, God willing, we have more normalcy and can have a weekend worth of fun and be back as scheduled before. Save the dates, first weekend of August of 2022, golf on Friday, dance on Saturday and kermess on Sunday. God bless you all!! See you next year!! ❤️🙏🏼

Not the news we had been hoping for but after postponing the dance to October in hopes that we would be out of the woods, we regret to inform you all that we will be cancelling the 35th Annual Reunion Dance. It’s the right thing to do to keep everyone safe and help prevent the spread of Covid-19. We will be back next year in August 2021. Stay safe and healthy!!!! ❤️🙏🏼

Great news all......The 35th Smeltertown - Buena Vista Reunion weekend is on!!! Yes....this is our 35th year that we have been fortunate enough to continue to reunite with old friends and family!

Festivities begin on Saturday October 3, 2020 with the golf ⛳️ tournament in the morning. Information located in picture below.

In the evening of Saturday, October 3, 2020, we continue the reunion with the dance. It will take place at The Forum Ballroom located at 3800 Mattox. Tickets will be sold soon and will be $25 each in advance and $30 at the door. This venue allows outside liquor and snacks. If you have any questions or need tickets, please call Donna Flores Sanchez at 915-433-0649 or Gabe Flores at 915-479-1058. 💃🏻 🕺🏻

Festivities will continue on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at the Kermess/ Church Bizarre at Santa Teresita Church. More information will be provided as we get closer to the date.

We look forward to seeing you all again this year. 2020 is the year of the pandemic and has been tough on many of us. Let’s take it back to simpler times and enjoy a weekend full of old friends and oldies!! ❤️🙏🏼

With the Covid-19 Pandemic and with many unknowns, we are looking to postpone the dance and golf tournament to the weekend of October 3rd and wanted to get your feedback. 2019 Reunion Pictures....bitter sweet day. August 3, 2019 we mourned the loss of 22 victims from the EP Walmart Shooting but on this day we also celebrated the lives and memories of so many from the Smeltertown/ Buenavista neighborhoods and their families. We hope to see all in August of 2020. Life is short....enjoy it!! ❤️🙏🏼

📣 THE FESTIVITIES BEGIN TOMORROW (AUGUST 2ND) WITH THE SMELTERTOWN BUENA VISTA OPEN HAPPENING AT PAINTED DUNES, FOLLOWED BY THE REUNION DANCE ON SATURDAY AND THEN THE CHURCH BIZARRE (KERMESS) ON SUNDAY AT SANTA TERESITA.

FRIDAY: Golf Tournament at Painted Dunes

SATURDAY: 34th Annual Reunion Dance at the Forum Ballroom, 3800 Mattox.......tickets in advance are $25....$30 at the door, tickets, NO EXCEPTIONS. Save $5 and buy in advance!! You are allowed to bring your own bottle, canned beers and snacks. Keg beer will be provided. (Budlight)

- 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM - is cocktail/ social hour - food will be served for those that arrive before 7:00 PM....you can also bring your own snacks, canned beer and liquor.

- 8:00 PM - 12:00 AM - 💃🏻 Dance....music by the Starliners!!

SUNDAY: Church Bizarre (Kermess) at Santa Teresita Mission in Buena Vista. Food will be sold starting at 1 PM and music starts at 5 PM. Come out and enjoy their famous gorditas, tacos, enchiladas and so much more!! Fun fun for the entire family!!
