🎒 Thank You for Making Our Back-to-School Event a Huge Success! 💛

Our Back-to-School event featured amazing sponsors and vendors, hands-on STEAM activities, and valuable resources for local families.

Thanks to your support, over 3,000 attendees connected with community services, discovered helpful programs, and gathered the tools they needed to start the school year with confidence.

As the new school year gets underway, we're excited to share the impact we made together. 📚✏️

🎨 CALL TO ARTISTS: DINO DIG PARK MURAL! 🦖

MOB and the El Paso Community Foundation are seeking artists and artist teams to create a one-of-a-kind public art installation for the new Dino Dig Park at the Sunland Park Sports Complex!

The selected artist will design and install a durable trompe l’oeil, or “trick of the eye,” bridge mural along the park’s signature Paleo Path. The artwork will create the illusion of crossing a prehistoric landscape while inspiring discovery, adventure, and unforgettable photo opportunities for visitors of all ages and abilities.

💰 Project Budget: $5,000
📅 Proposals Due: September 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM MST
📣 Selected Artist Notified By: October 15, 2026

What a beautiful way to kick off Back to School season! 📚💛

Last Saturday, we had the opportunity to be part of the Mom on Board Back to School Event at Bassett Place, and our hearts are full.

Thanks to the generous donation from El Paso Public Libraries, we were able to give away 150 free books to local families, helping little readers head back to school with a new story in their hands. 📖✨

The event also provided incredible support for our community:
🎒 800 free backpacks filled with school supplies
🏃 Sports physicals
✂️ Free haircuts for kids
💉 Free and low-cost vaccines
👕 Uniform swap
🎉 Family activities and amazing community resources
