What Would Jesus Paint

What Would Jesus Paint Mural Initiative and Business established to beautify the public areas of the community, inspire others, spread truth and much more...

The Gap Visuals is a collaboration between five muralists in their perspective of the Great Commission. For the past 5 years, two of the muralists have painted countless murals, dozens of commissions, and partnered with several organizations in hopes to achieve their goal of sharing love. Now that they are under the The Collective, three other muralists have joined.

Take a peak at our next mural, "Transfiguration". This mural is located on the property behind 5622 Paisano, or at the intersection of Gateway West and Willie Sanchez. You can also find the property by searching, "Transfiguration Mural", on any Apple device or Apple Maps. Transfiguration means to completely change someone's or something's form. This mural was inspired by Ezekiel 36:26: "And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart." It represents to be able to humble oneself to Christ in complete dependence and ask for help, acknowledging that change needs to happen is at the core of our relationship with Jesus. The heart in this mural symbolizes a man or woman's soul or their mind will and emotions. The Bible tells us to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. Simply put, if you can change a man's soul you can change his life, that is the job of the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth.

It's time for The Gap Collective to paint their second mural here in beautiful El Paso. We need your help to make this possible. We have secured a beautiful, high-trafficked wall off of Chelsie and I-10 and have come to an agreement on the design. Now, all we need is the support of our fellow community members, all of you! We need your help to purchase the supplies necessary to make this possible.

For this mural, they need: 5 Gallon Black Exterior Paint, $350-$400 of Spraypaint, Several Spraypaint Masks, 4 Rolls of Blue Painters Tape, Several rollers and handles, and Scaffolding (One Stack). You can partner with us in several ways. You can coordinate a time to meet with us to select the supplies and purchase them from your accounts, buy the supplies alone and bring it to us, or you can visit our online donation platform (Square Store) and donate whatever you feel led to give (http://squareup.com/store/thegapcollective). We really need your partnership on this El Paso.

This mural is for all of us, so help us make this possible.
