After months of community work — nature walks, elder teachings, and hands-on clay workshops rooted in the healing wisdom and memory of the Chihuahuan Desert☀️ 🌄— I am almost at the finish line. Join me for the culminating celebration of Voices of the Desert: Art, Memory & Healing on Saturday, July 25th at Roderick Artspace Gallery in downtown El Paso. Come witness a community floor mural, a closing ceremony, and a special art installation made from the words our participants left behind. Free and open to all. Hope to see you all there! Yours truly, Akiceri 🫶
