💐✨ CELEBRATING MOTHERS ✨💐
For the past 5 years, The Great Khalid Foundation has proudly partnered with the El Paso Public Library for our annual Mother’s Day initiative, Celebrating Mothers.
This special program gives children the opportunity to honor their mothers and mother figures by writing heartfelt essays expressing why they are so special in their lives. Through this experience, children learn to be vulnerable, brave, and confident as they share their words in front of a crowd and their families.
Out of over 100 submissions, only 4 winners are selected to receive flowers and chocolates to present to their loved ones during our celebration. 🌹🍫
More than a contest, this initiative is about inspiring young people to believe in themselves, work hard, and understand that anything is possible when they put their heart into it. It’s about instilling pride, confidence, and the courage to express love openly.
To every mother and mother figure — thank you for the love, strength, and guidance you provide every day. ❤️
