💐✨ CELEBRATING MOTHERS ✨💐

For the past 5 years, The Great Khalid Foundation has proudly partnered with the El Paso Public Library for our annual Mother’s Day initiative, Celebrating Mothers.

This special program gives children the opportunity to honor their mothers and mother figures by writing heartfelt essays expressing why they are so special in their lives. Through this experience, children learn to be vulnerable, brave, and confident as they share their words in front of a crowd and their families.

Out of over 100 submissions, only 4 winners are selected to receive flowers and chocolates to present to their loved ones during our celebration. 🌹🍫

More than a contest, this initiative is about inspiring young people to believe in themselves, work hard, and understand that anything is possible when they put their heart into it. It’s about instilling pride, confidence, and the courage to express love openly.

To every mother and mother figure — thank you for the love, strength, and guidance you provide every day. ❤️

🎶 The Great Khalid Performance Arts Scholarship Is Now Open! 🎭

The Great Khalid Foundation is proud to announce that applications for our Performance Arts Scholarship will be accepted March 15 – May 15.

This scholarship is open to high school seniors nationwide who are passionate about the performing arts and ready to take their talent to the next level. Whether your gift is in music, theater, dance, or another performance discipline, we want to support your journey.

Khalid believed in the power of artistic expression, dedication, and heart — and this scholarship continues that legacy by investing in the next generation of performers.
