🌟 ALPFA El Paso Welcomes Our New Board Secretary! 🌟

We’re proud to introduce Christopher “Chris” Almaguer as the new Secretary of the ALPFA El Paso Board of Directors.

Born in Las Cruces, NM, and raised across the Borderland (El Paso, Las Cruces, and Cd. Juárez), Chris brings a wealth of leadership and global experience to our chapter. He is a graduate of New Mexico State University with a bachelor’s degree in International Business and holds a master’s degree in National Security and Latin American Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.

A retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army, Chris completed two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan, later serving a decade in Latin America as a diplomat and advisor. After retiring, he led the Office of Refugee Resettlement’s influx care facility, supporting migrant children during a critical time.

Today, Chris continues his service as the Federal Government Contracts and Strategic Advisor for MasterWord Services, a Houston-based language services company.

We’re excited to welcome Chris to our leadership team and look forward to the incredible impact his experience and passion will bring to ALPFA El Paso!
