The Gorham Camp Masters could use your help preparing Gorham for the Winter. The Frijoles fire and some major water leak repairs have put us behind schedule. We need help winterizing/closing the camp buildings and camp sites, taking down and storing the tents, and possible other tasks. We need both adults and youth volunteers. The youth should be Scouts BSA or Venture age. The jobs might be a little much for Cubbies.
Please volunteer as an individual or as a unit. Just let us know the number of volunteers. If you have cordless drills or simple hand tools (pipe and crescent wrenches, screwdrivers etc.) would be helpful. Volunteers can come for a day or the full weekend whatever works. Please be sure to bring a copy of your A&B Medforms.
We ask that units/volunteers plan to provide their own food unless we can get a volunteer to coordinate food for the weekends. We can use the camp's outdoor grill but the Dining hall and kitchen will be unavailable.
