September’s Sunset Run was such a special evening!

Thank you to everyone who came out and gave shelter dogs something they don’t get enough of: time outside the kennel, movement, fresh air, human connection, and a chance to simply be dogs.

Now we’re doing it again!

📅 October 28
📍 El Paso Animal Services – Main Shelter
⏰ 6 PM

Come spend your evening making a shelter dog’s day a little brighter. 💙

It’s sweater weather season! And our new tie-dye sweatshirts are here 💙🐾

This one carries a message that says exactly why we do what we do:
“Every step out of the shelter is a step closer to a home.”

Because sometimes that step is a Sunday walk. Sometimes it’s a Doggy Day Out. Sometimes it’s a foster opening their door.

Every sweatshirt purchase helps Rescue Runners keep those opportunities going by helping us provide things like leashes and walking gear, treats and enrichment, Doggy Day Out supplies, Adopt Me gear, foster crates and basic supplies, and other resources that help shelter and rescue dogs spend more time outside the kennel and closer to a family.

You can find the new sweatshirts at our upcoming Sunday Walks, Sunset Runs, and Rescue Runners events.
Find all the info at-> www.rescuerunners.org

Wear the mission. Help the pups. And keep taking those steps with us. 🐶💙

Fostering saves lives… but fosters shouldn’t have to do it alone.🐾❤️

Rebecca opened her home to Sinai and Sahara, the last two Red Sands pups, and in this video she shares what that experience has looked like and how Rescue Runners has been able to support her along the way.

This is why your support matters. Your donations allow us to collaborate with organizations like LawNPaws and help the people who are doing the day-to-day work of caring for rescue dogs until their forever families come along.

A foster provides the home, the patience, the routine, and so much love, and we want to be part of the community that helps them keep saying yes.

Thank you, Rebecca, for opening your home and your heart to these pups. 💙

And yes… Sinai and Sahara are still looking for their forever homes. 🏡🐶 Please share and help us get them there.

Our hearts are so full. 💙🐾

This El Paso Giving Day, you are showing up for the pups in a way that truly overwhelmed us with gratitude.

Seeing Ileene here with her current foster, Gobi, is such a beautiful reminder of what your support makes possible, more chances, more safe places, more love, and more people willing to step up for dogs who need someone in their corner.

To every person who have donated, shared, volunteered, encouraged a friend, or simply believed in what we do: thank you.

Rescue Runners is powered by this community, and this year you reminded us just how strong that community is.

From all of us, and from pups like Gobi, thank you for showing up. Again and again.
