The Lions Clubs here in El Paso are still for children with disabilities, diabetes and down syndrome to fill their Texas Lions Camp located in Kerrville, Tx. If you or your child is interested in going to this wonderful Camp, please contact one of 15 Lions Clubs in El Paso or let us know thru our facebook account.

East El Paso Lions also has a fund raiser on going with the sale of Mother's day Roses. $20 per dozen delivered to buisnesses in El Paso on Friday May 11th and residences in El Paso on Saturday May 12th. East El Paso Lions will be at the Walmart on Redd Rd and Resler on March 31st from 9am to 3pm soliciting funds to help our White Cane charities such as Lions For Vision, Leader Dog for the Blind, West Texas Eye Bank, West Texas Lions Eye Health Foundation, World Services for the Blind, and Texas Eye Glass Recycling center. Please come out, patronize Walmart who has helped the Lions Clubs tremendously and be generous with your donations to our solicitions to help the blind.

On the 19th of Nov we will be helping to build a ramp for a disabled person that our club sponored. The program is funded by the El Paso Times in concert with Texas Ramps. Our club found the individual and submitted the funding request to El Paso Times and now will help do the labor. We wll post photos after we get done.

Our Bobo's fund raiser was fun. We had pizza, soda and laughs galore. Thank you Lion Jenny for setting this up.
We also went to the District Cabinet Meeting on Saturday in Van Horn. We rented a 15 passager van and had 11 Lions attend the meeting. Our Distrct governor was dressed in an 1800's Army Infantry uniform and we had a lot of fun.
