City of El Paso Community Budget Meetings

Hello everyone,

On behalf of Mayor Pro Tempore Chavez:

The City of El Paso is hosting a series of Community Budget Meetings to provide residents with a first look at the preliminary Fiscal Year 2027 budget. Participants will learn about the budget development process, hear about proposed investments and priorities, ask questions, and provide feedback directly to City leadership.

District 1's meeting will take place: Tuesday, June 2, 2026, 6:00 p.m., Westside Regional Command Center

Community participation is essential as the City works to balance priorities and make decisions that affect neighborhoods across El Paso. Residents will also have the opportunity to explore a new online Budget Simulator launching this June, which will help illustrate the challenges and tradeoffs involved in developing a balanced budget.

For additional information and budget updates, residents may visit the City's Office of Management and Budget website at ElPasoTexas.gov/omb.

Thank you for helping share this information with your neighborhood and encouraging community participation.

Sincerely,

Gladys Acosta, MPAff
