Austin High Alumni Association El Paso, Texas Stephen F. Austin High School was built in 1929. It opened its doors to students in September 1930. Supporting school traditions of the past and the present.

The AHS Alumni Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the following:
Engaging past students and informing them of current events at Austin High School. Providing a Scholarship Fun

d for graduating seniors. Selecting an Outstanding Ex-Student to be honored each year during Homecoming Week. Purposes:
Link to past students, providing information on Austin High School current events. Support school traditions and strive to strengthen school pride. Provide support and assistance when situations arise within the school. Provide a scholarship fund for Austin seniors. Responsible for the selection of the Outstanding Ex-Student. Host the Outstanding Ex-Student reception dinner. Participate in homecoming activities. Provide a newsletter to alumni association members. Provide class reunions campus tours. Assist with Freshmen Induction Ceremony. Support the tradition of lighting the "A". Develop a speaker bureau to benefit students.

Dora Foret Angelone Obituary

Dora Foret Angelone, born on August 12, 1948, passed away on August 19, 2026. Dora leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dora Foret Angelone to pay them a last tribute. Dora was an Austin High School graduate of 1966.

Dora leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Dora’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Dora will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was predeceased by: her grandsons, Christopher Davis and Ryan Delezene. She is survived by: her husband Michael Angelone; her children, Diana Davis (Harry Davis) of El Paso, Elizabeth, Lynda and Thomas (Christine Angelone); and her siblings, Mary Lou Pendergrass, George Foret and Jean Hill.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Marks United Methodist Church (5005 Love Rd, El Paso, TX 79922).
