Fred Perea joins Project ARRIBA as President and CEO after a distinguished career in executive human resources leadership, most recently serving as Global Head of Human Resources for Helen of Troy. A lifelong advocate for education, workforce development, and economic opportunity, Fred has dedicated his career to helping people and organizations thrive. His leadership experience spans talent development, organizational strategy, teaching, community service, and workforce initiatives. An El Paso native and passionate community leader, Fred’s academic and professional work has focused on economic mobility, employment pathways, and strengthening connections between education, employers, and workforce development. He is honored to lead Project ARRIBA and continue its mission of creating life-changing opportunities for individuals and families throughout the region.
