This past month, the SMVF team had the privilege of attending the Partners in Prevention (PIP) conference in Austin, Texas. This event provided a unique platform for networking and knowledge sharing among professionals dedicated to supporting our military community. Throughout the conference, the team engaged with various workshops and panel discussions that offered valuable insights into best practices for advocacy and support services tailored to Veterans and their families. The exchange of ideas among seasoned experts allowed the SMVF team to gain a deeper understanding of pressing issues faced by service members, as well as innovative strategies for prevention and intervention. This comprehensive learning experience equipped the team with practical tools and resources that will enhance their ability to effectively assist those who have served our country, ensuring that they receive the care and support they deserve.
