Walk a Mile in Her Shoes 2019 was our most successful ever! This community came together to raise almost $185,000 for women and children who have survived domestic violence. Thank you to everyone who served on our committee, everyone who walked, everyone who sponsored the event, everyone who raised money, everyone who gave a gift, everyone who volunteered, and the entire El Paso community for supporting YWCA El Paso Del Norte Region and our work to end domestic violence. See you in 2020!

We surpassed our goal! Thank you to everyone who sponsored, supported, donated, walked, and worked to make this year's Walk a Mile in Her Shoes so successful. Every ounce of effort is worth it as we work to end domestic violence and provide a second chance to survivors.

One year ago, a woman named Janette, left Odessa, Texas with her two month old baby in hand. She was in a physically and emotionally abusive relationship for almost two years. Each year the YWCA of El Paso helps women like Janette who have suffered from domestic violence.
