Our volunteers this week have not let the rain deter their hearts for serving the Lord and our communities during their mission trips. Chaplewood Church youth and their leaders along with Mosaic and their amazing group of volunteers are staying busy! Churches, homes and families in need, other non profits like Sleep in Heavenly Place, food pantry’s , Hope Women’s Resource Center and many more are being blessed by the work being completed by all these volunteers. We have the rest of the week left and God is moving mountains through these amazing volunteers.

Today is the day our Mission Trip participants from Chaplewood and Mosaic arrive. We pray for safe travels for all 240+ volunteers coming to serve the Lord and our communities this week. We have over 15 large projects and partnership projects set up with two local churches that are getting major remodel work completed, Family Services is getting a new garden put in, local food pantries getting hands to help , And wheelchair ramp projects being built in 3 counties. May God use all of us as his vessels this week to help change lives and help these clients and families that so desperately need the help. We will have lots of pictures to show their progress this week.

Our team over the past couple weeks has been all over SETX serving clients on ramps, major floor repair projects and more. This week we are preparing for a huge group of volunteers coming from the Houston area to spend all of next week with us on a mission trip. Over 250 volunteers bringing blessings and much needed help to so many families. We are also working on two local churches that needed help on major projects. Please pray for safe travels for our volunteers and an amazing week of service to the Lord as we go share God’s love and work hard to change lives and give people the best quality of life in their homes they deserve.

We had another busy and blessed week at NV. Our team is finishing up a large job in Orange. We got to visit with a bunch of our Non Profit partners at the St Mark’s Community Grant awards ceremony on Thursday. St.Mark’s awarded $95,000 in grants to non profits that do so much amazing work in our communities. We are so appreciative to have received one of the grants to help continue serving our clients in need in the community.

We are so thankful and blessed for our employees and team at Nehemiah’s Vision. They have been non stop on projects the last couple of weeks. Another large subfloor and floor repair project for clients that had severe damage affecting the safety and quality of life in their home. When we don’t have volunteer groups these guys are our life line to serving the Lord and our communities and clients in need. They will finish this project in Jefferson County this week. Move to another large project in Orange County next week. If you, your church group,or civic group would like to volunteer and be part of our ministry please reach out to us. We have several volunteer groups planned for the coming months.

We are so thankful and so blessed to have been able to host our Nehemiah’s Vision & Oklahoma BCM Spring Break Mission trip again this year. Their energy and love for service for our communities in SETX and their love to serve the Lord is something all young people could learn from. We were there with them this morning when they left the Cove as we prayed them out for a safe trip home. The clients and families they touched and served this week were left in tears of joy in some instances.
