We had another busy and blessed week at NV. Our team is finishing up a large job in Orange. We got to visit with a bunch of our Non Profit partners at the St Mark’s Community Grant awards ceremony on Thursday. St.Mark’s awarded $95,000 in grants to non profits that do so much amazing work in our communities. We are so appreciative to have received one of the grants to help continue serving our clients in need in the community.

We are so thankful and blessed for our employees and team at Nehemiah’s Vision. They have been non stop on projects the last couple of weeks. Another large subfloor and floor repair project for clients that had severe damage affecting the safety and quality of life in their home. When we don’t have volunteer groups these guys are our life line to serving the Lord and our communities and clients in need. They will finish this project in Jefferson County this week. Move to another large project in Orange County next week. If you, your church group,or civic group would like to volunteer and be part of our ministry please reach out to us. We have several volunteer groups planned for the coming months.

Our team has been working non stop and completed two projects in Jefferson and Hardin County this week. And will have a third project completed in Hardin County tomorrow. We had another amazing group return for a Spring Break Mission Trip this week from Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is their third year serving and volunteering with us and we are so appreciative of their will to serve our community and our clients. Lots of smiles and learning going on the last couple days while serving the Lord.

What an amazing day and so thankful for our partnership with United Way of Beaumont and North Jefferson County and ExxonMobil for the Day of Caring Bmt 2026 initiative. Our volunteers today worked with our staff and completed a wheelchair ramp for a client who could not return home from hospital rehab until a ramp was built and finalized. This blessing will allow them to come home and have the quality of life that we all deserve inside their own home. Great fellowship and partnerships made today. We are so thankful and proud to be a part of this community initiative!

We are so thankful and so blessed to have been able to host our Nehemiah’s Vision & Oklahoma BCM Spring Break Mission trip again this year. Their energy and love for service for our communities in SETX and their love to serve the Lord is something all young people could learn from. We were there with them this morning when they left the Cove as we prayed them out for a safe trip home. The clients and families they touched and served this week were left in tears of joy in some instances. Day 3 was just as amazing and successful as the others. These teams are completing project after project helping these deserving families have the quality of life and their needs met at these homes all while sharing their faith and love for the Lord. The smiles in these pictures say it all. Thank you to all who came to serve this week.
