Our Mission

Crew 13 in Fountain, Colorado is a co-ed program serving young men and women ages 14 to 18 years of age. Our goal is to provide community and conservation service, promote ethical and moral training, and inspire young adults to become well-rounded individuals. We strive to help our youth to become our voices in all aspects of our society - whether it be in government, social awareness, faith-based beliefs, or entrepreneurship. Families in Fountain and surrounding locations are welcomed to join our pack with the understanding that our primary focus is providing a safe environment to learn.

Youth Protection is paramount to the success of our program. Bullying, harassment, abuse (sexual, physical, or emotional), exposure to violence, or neglect has no place in Scouting. Our pack has a Zero Tolerance policy to violations of Youth Protection and by Colorado Law - both our Youth leaders and Adult leaders are mandated reporters. Any violation of our Youth Protection standards will result in the notification of local Law Enforcement and the Scout Executive of the Pikes Peak Council, BSA. All adults (both Advisors and Parents) in our Venturing program are required to take Youth Protection Training because we believe that our children of any age look to us (Adults) to keep them safe.
