The 19th Rifle Company, USMCR Foundation, Inc., is a veterans’, fraternal, and charitable organization with members who have served in the United States Marine Corps and have organized for the purposes of banding together in fellowship those who have served in the 19th Rifle Company, USMCR and the United States Marine Corps; for the purpose of preserving the traditions and history of the United St

ates Marine Corps and promoting the Marine Corps ideals of Honor, Courage, and Commitment in our community. The 19th Rifle Company, USMCR Foundation, Inc. shall promote social and recreational activities for its members. shall promote the common good and general welfare of the people of our community by providing annually, college or Trade School scholarships for selected El Paso Area High School Navy Junior ROTC students; by providing a Funeral Service Team committed to rendering, at the request of the family of the deceased Marine, a United States Marine Corps farewell ceremony with Taps and the presentation of a USMC flag to the family of the deceased Marine; by distributing yearly Thanksgiving Food Turkey Baskets with all the trimmings to as many needy families as possible in our community; by supporting and working with the USMC Reserve Toys-for-Tots campaign to raise funds, collect, and distribute toys to needy children during the Christmas season; by participating in patriotic functions such as parades and other community events, such as the Annual 4th of July Peoples Parade, the Annual Golden Bears Memorial Day Mass and Patriotic Ceremony, the annual Massing of the Colors, and the annual Downtown Veterans Day Parade; by giving financial and moral support to the youth of Anthony, New Mexico who are members of the Jr. Marines; by supporting the Delta Battery, 2nd Battalion, 14th Marines, USMC Reserve located at 4810 Pollard Street, in El Paso, Texas; by supporting the El Paso, Texas Flags Across America organization that sponsors the 180 ft. American flag located at the El Paso Community College Transmountain campus; and by contributing monetary donations to causes, community projects and programs deemed worthy by the membership.
