It's Holly's anniversary month! 🎉Cheers to Holly Mesarch's four years a a staff member. Holly has gradually increased her role with El Paso Opera (and not just her roles on the stage!). She first joined EPO as a performer and member of our Artist Ambasadors. Then she became a temp in the office who became Assistant to the Director and now is our Director of Impact & Engagement! Holly is a fervent believer in what we do and her enthusiasm shows in every conversation. It is this infectious attitude that makes her the perfect person to both cultivate donor relationships and spearhead our education program. No matter the audience, her love and knowledge of what we do is undeniable. ❤️🎶🫶
Join us in congratulating Holly for her four years as part of our team! 👏

Our hearts are filled with gratitude!

El Paso Giving Day was quite the whirlwind! We had a tremendous response to our Early Giving campaign and met our first $12,500 match from The Shiloff Family Foundation just seconds before the deadline to qualify for the Meta match. Phew!

It was tremdously heartwarming to see all of the donations rolling in throughout the rest of the day! In fact, we had more individual donors than ever before! And with each successive donation the money was matched dollar for dollar by Meta until that match was depleted. We believe so strongly in the value of our organization and these donations demonstrate that you believe in us too. THANK YOU!

El Paso Giving Day 2026
Total dollar amount donated: $15,524
Number of individual donors: 82
Amount matched by The Shiloff Family Foundation: $12,500
Amount matched by Meta: $1,376
Total amount raised with this campaign: $29,400
Our most successful Giving Day yet!

With gratitude 🙏❤️🙏

El Paso Giving Day is almost done but there is still time to support your favorite non-profit organizations! For many of us, constant fundraising is a necessity. Events like El Paso Giving Day help us reach new donors and help introduce new people to our organization and what we do! We are grateful for all these new extended family members. 😍

Every dollar we raise stays right here in El Paso, supporting our 2026–2027 season, strengthening our local economy, enriching quality of life, and keeping professional opera thriving in our community. Let's work together to create a world we all want to live in. A world filled with beautiful art! 🧡🎶🙏

Taking a look at how nonprofit arts organizations make a difference in El Paso, today's shines on Musetta singing her classic aria in Act II of La Bohème. Featuring Jessica Sandidge as Musetta our 2026 intimate staging of La Bohème highlighted impressive vocal artistry from our cast and creative staging from our director to make the most out of St. Rogers Depot, our unique performance venue. Performances like this are just one of the things you support when you make a donation to El Paso Opera 🙏🎶🎭On El Paso Giving Day, you can support professional opera, local artists, arts education and free community programming that are all right here in El Paso! No need to wait to give because Early Giving is going on now. Visit the link in bio for more information!
