2023 Honorees-Valley of El Paso, Orient of Texas

It is our distinct privilege to inform you of the election of the El Paso Valley’s 2023 Honorees for the 2023 Biennial cycle. These appointments are made by the Supreme Council of the Southern Jurisdiction of the Scottish Rite from those Members nominated by the Orient Sovereign Grand Inspector General. The number of Honors recognitions are few by design. They are unique and special and recognize years of extraordinary service to Scottish Rite Freemasonry. Here at Coronado Lodge No. 1406, Texas A.F. & A.M., we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making our community a better place for all. Our story begins in 1964 where a group of brother's wanted to start a new Masonic lodge on the west side of El Paso. Back then the west side was small and very few people believed our lodge would make it. In 2014 the lodge celebrated it's fifty year anniversary and we are still going strong in 2019! The lodge is very unique in itself, half of our property resides in Texas and the other side in New Mexico. Which is unique because from the parking lot you can see two countries, three states, and three cities. That is why we are known as the most “Far West Lodge in all of Texas"!
