🏆✨ WE DID IT, MUSTANGS! ✨🏆

We are incredibly proud to announce that Ben Milam Elementary PTA has earned the August Head Start Award from the El Paso ISD Council of PTAs! 🎉💙💛

Our PTA reached an amazing 85% membership achievement, meaning we reached at least 85% of last year’s membership total! 🙌

This recognition is a reflection of the incredible support, involvement, and Mustang pride of our families, staff, and community. Every membership makes a difference and helps us continue supporting our students and school. ❤️🐴

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who joined, encouraged others to join, volunteered, and continues to believe in the power of our PTA! 💙

This is only the beginning! Let’s keep growing, connecting, and making a difference together!

A huge thank you to our Milam PTA dads who stepped up and helped cover our crosswalks this morning and afternoon! Your time helped keep our Mustangs safe and our morning moving smoothly—and we appreciate you!

Throughout the year, there will be several days when our incredible Sgt. Maj. Academy volunteers are unavailable due to training or holiday schedules. That’s where our Milam community comes in!

🚸 Interested in being a crosswalk volunteer? Let us know! Even helping for a morning or two makes a difference.

And we hope your student was caught by our Friday Spirit Squad handing out passports and stickers to those in spirit wear. Want to help? Sign up for Friday volunteers coming soon!

Starting this Friday, students showing their school spirit can get caught by PTA and earn a Spirit MVP sticker for their brand-new Spirit Passport!

Wear your PTA spirit wear, Milam colors, custom shirts, handmade bows—or anything that shows you’re Team Milam. If you’re showing Milam pride, it counts!

⭐ 18 Fridays. 18 stickers.
📘 Keep your Spirit Passport safe all year.

📣 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED — Let’s give our Milam benches a makeover!

Our benches have served our Milam community well, but it’s time to Restore. Refresh. Reinvent. ✨

The Ben Milam PTA School & Community Revitalization Committee is kicking off our Bench Refurbishment Project, and we’d love your help!

🛠️ Have supplies you’d like to loan? We’d love to put them to good use!
🙌 Have time to volunteer? Many hands make a big difference!

📅 September 11th, 9:00am - 3:00pm (loan drop off) and 4:00pm - 7:00pm (Prep benches, sand, remove old pant and smooth)
📅 September 12, 9:00am - 1:00pm (Refurbish, paint and seal)

Every little bit helps us restore these benches and make our campus a little better for our students, parents and staff. Let's show Pride. Community. Teamwork.
