Last meeting of Architecture Society 2025-2026 🤍

We voted for our new President, Carlos Votta, and Vice President, Andres Garza. Wishing you both the best in this new chapter, enjoy it as much as we did.

A big shoutout to our board:
President Daphne Salcido, Vice President Carlo Zepeda, Secretary Luis Garcia, Treasurer Jose Marquez, Graphic Designer Adrian Garcia, and me as Social Media Director, Georgina Rodriguez.

Most of us are graduating this year, and while it’s a little bittersweet, we know this is just the beginning of new opportunities to grow, learn, and keep creating.

Thank you for everything, and most importantly, for all the good times.

Architecture Society shirts are now available!

Designed by students as a reflection of our process and perspective. The tape represents the temporary and evolving nature of architecture, where ideas are constantly tested, revised, and reworked.

The phrase “non-professional?” on the back is intentional. It responds to recent changes that exclude architecture from the “professional degree” category for federal student loan purposes, while also opening a broader conversation about how architecture is being defined and valued today.

$15 each

Join us for our ArchSoc Lecture Series featuring Alicia Delgado-Alcaraz (she/her/ella) is a MX-US borderland designer, researcher, and educator born in El Paso and raised in Ciudad Juárez. As her upbringing required constant political and cultural translation, her interests grew from the domestic artifacts that remain. She holds a B.S. from the 2+2 Architecture Program between EPCC and TTU HCoA-El Paso and an MArch from MIT, where she co-founded Shift+W and co-authored the Changing Room exhibition at MIT Keller Gallery. As Founder/Director of in//border, she is currently co-developing in//mapa, the organization’s design research lab focused on expanding access to resources in arts, design, and architecture
