Getting a flu vaccine is a good way to help keep you from getting sick. But it can also help keep you from having to go to the doctor’s office or emergency room. If you’ve had to take time off from work because you were sick or to care for a loved one who was sick, you may be having trouble paying for groceries. That’s okay and there are free resources that can help. Reduce the Risk of Losing Your Home

If you’ve lost your job, have had to take time off to care for a loved one, or been sick yourself, you may be having trouble paying your rent, paying your mortgage, or even your utility bills. El Paso County has assistance programs that help reduce the risk of losing your home or ending up owing on your utilities. In observance of Labor Day, Monday, September 7th, All County Administrative offices and the Enrique Moreno County Courthouse will be closed.

El Paso County Commissioners Court will not meet on Monday and will resume County business the following week at their regular session meeting on Monday, September 14 beginning at 9:30 a.m.

On this day seven years ago, tragedy struck our bi-national community and 23 innocent lives were lost along with countless others victimized by domestic terrorism.
The August 3rd tragedy did not cripple our community but made us stronger together.

El Paso County is commited to honoring the 23 lives lost and the lives affected by the tragic event on August 3, 2019. Please join us for a "Day of Remembrance" ceremony on Sunday, August 2 at the El Paso County Healing Garden.

We wil begin at 6:45pm with an instrumental performance by El Paso Pro Musica, the release of 23 white doves, luminarias and the reading of the names to honor the 23 vicitims.

El Paso County is providing safe, air-conditioned spaces for residents to stay cool this summer.
🚍El Paso Transportation Authority - ETA is here to help you get there safely and comfortably—just hop on and ride with them!

🕘 Hours: Monday–Sunday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
📍 Cooling Center Locations:
• Agua Dulce Community Center – Horizon City
• Fabens Community Center – Fabens
• Canutillo Community Center – Canutillo
• La Fe Montana Vista Community and Resource Center – East El Paso

Stay hydrated, limit outdoor activities during peak heat hours, and check on family members, neighbors, seniors, and pets during extreme temperatures.

For after-hours cooling assistance, dial 3-1-1. In an emergency, call 9-1-1.
