🌟 Survivors Celebration 2026 🌟
National Cancer Survivors Day: Celebrating Life, Raising Awareness, and Inspiring Hope!
National Cancer Survivors Day is coming up on Sunday, June 7th! We are coming together to celebrate life, honor our incredible Survivors, and send a powerful message of Hope to the brave Warriors currently undergoing treatment.
If you or your child is a survivor, your victory is a lifeline. You don’t have to relive the hardest days to make a difference, just showing how bright life can be after cancer gives a family in the trenches the strength to keep fighting.
We invite you to participate in our 2026 Survivors Celebration & Contest!
🎁 Celebration Awards & Gifts
To show our deep appreciation for your time and heart, the Eagles Treasures In Heaven board will be selecting entries to receive special celebratory gifts!
Awards will be given across two categories (Boys and Girls):
• 🥇 1st Place: $100 Visa Gift Card + a special Mystery Gift!
• 🥈 2nd Place: $50 Visa Gift Card + a special Mystery Gift!
• 🥉 3rd Place: $25 Digital Gift Card + a special Mystery Gift!
🎨 Choose How You Share Your Light!
We want you to feel entirely comfortable and in control of your narrative. You can participate by choosing one of the options below:
• Option 1:
The Story of Victory (Written Story and Photos)
Tell us about your journey! You can share as much or as little as you like. To help guide you, here are some things you can include:
• What helped your family find strength and hope during the journey?
• What life lessons or wisdom did you gain along the way?
• What advice or words of encouragement do you have for new patients and parents?
What would you tell the world to convince them to invest more in pediatric cancer research?
What do you think played a big role in your survivorship?
(Optional details: Your diagnosis, type of cancer, or how you navigate life and late effects today.)
If writing out a long story feels too heavy, you can send a recent photo of the survivor doing something they love today (graduating, playing sports, smiling, enjoying a hobby) along with a short, simple message of encouragement to kids in treatment. (Example: "I made it to high school graduation, and you will too!")

The "Future Self" Video, Story & Message (Quick & Low-Pressure)

Share Anonymously
You can submit your story or photo message and request that we only use a first initial or list it as "A Brave Survivor, Age 14." Your privacy and comfort are our top priorities.
Every participant is a winner in our eyes, and surprises will be waiting for everyone who joins in!
📋 Guidelines & How to Enter
• Eligibility: Survivors must be at least 3 years post-treatment.
• Deadline: Please submit your story, photos, video or message by June 1st.

Día Nacional de los Sobrevivientes de Cáncer: ¡Celebrando la Vida, Creando Concientización e Inspirando Esperanza!
¡El Día Nacional de los Sobrevivientes de Cáncer se acerca el domingo 7 de junio! Nos reuniremos para celebrar la vida, honrar a nuestros increíbles sobrevivientes y enviar un poderoso mensaje de esperanza a los valientes guerreros que actualmente reciben tratamiento.
Si usted o su hij@ es sobreviviente, su victoria es un salvavidas. No es necesario revivir los días más difíciles para marcar la diferencia; simplemente mostrar lo brillante que puede ser la vida después del cáncer le da a una familia que está luchando la fuerza para seguir adelante.

🎁 Premios y Regalos de Celebración
Para mostrar nuestro profundo agradecimiento por su tiempo y generosidad, la junta directiva de Eagles Treasures In Heaven seleccionará a los participantes que recibirán regalos especiales de celebración. Se entregarán premios en dos categorías (niños y niñas):
• 🥇 1er lugar: Tarjeta de regalo Visa de $100 + ¡un regalo sorpresa especial!
• 🥈 2do lugar: Tarjeta de regalo Visa de $50 + ¡un regalo sorpresa especial!

Queremos que te sientas completamente cómodo/a y con el control de tu relato. Puedes participar eligiendo una de las siguientes opciones:
• Opción 1:
La historia de la victoria (Historia escrita y fotos)
¡Cuéntanos sobre tu experiencia! Puedes compartir tanto como quieras. Para ayudarte, aquí tienes algunas ideas:
• ¿Qué ayudó a tu familia a encontrar fuerza y esperanza durante el proceso?
• ¿Qué lecciones de vida o sabiduría aprendiste en el camino?
• ¿Qué consejos o palabras de aliento tienes para los nuevos pacientes y sus padres?
¿Qué le dirías al mundo para convencerlos de invertir más en la investigación del cáncer infantil?
¿Qué crees que influyó mucho en tu recuperación?
(Detalles opcionales: Tu diagnóstico, tipo de cáncer o cómo afrontas la vida y las secuelas a largo plazo).
Si escribir una historia larga te resulta demasiado pesado, puedes enviar una foto reciente del sobreviviente haciendo algo que le guste (graduarse, practicar algún deporte, sonreír, disfrutar de un pasatiempo) junto con un breve y sencillo mensaje de ánimo para los niños en tratamiento. (Ejemplo: "¡Yo me gradué de la preparatoria, y tú también lo harás!").

Video, historia y mensaje "Mi yo del futuro" (Rápido y sin presiones)

Comparte de forma anónima
Puedes enviar tu historia o mensaje con foto y solicitar que solo usemos la inicial de tu nombre o que aparezca como "Un valiente sobreviviente, 14 años". Tu privacidad y comodidad son nuestra prioridad.
Para nosotros, cada participante es un ganador, ¡y habrá sorpresas para todos los que se unan!
