West Texas Lions Hearing doing heartfelt service. Providing free hearing screenings this morning at Oz Glaze Senior Center in Horizon City. Lions contributes to the community by assisting those in need who may need help with doctor services, medical ear procedures, hearing aids and much much more. We elected officers for the 2023 - 2024. Nominations for next year officers are for President Frank Ramirez, East Vice President Robert Roeber, West Vice President Anna Bela Doporto, Secretary Sherry Williamson, Treasurer Annette Norch, Directors Judi Verslype, Judy Ramirez, Ruth Rivas, Aaron Urias, Raul Rosales, and Susan Driscoll.

West Texas Lions Hearing held their monthly meeting and voted to purchase another audiometer with donations received from the El Paso Executive Women Lions Club. Since July 2022, our Lion screeners have tested 3,362 school children and 75 were detected with some type of hearing problems. Helping our community is our goal!
