Foundation Background & Mission Statement
The Evelyn Solis Foundation was established in June of 2022 by her Husband Jose, Her two daughters Lorraine and Vanessa and her son Rivers, in memory and honor of Evelyn Lina Solis a loving mother, wife, nana, sister & friend , a devout believer in God , volunteer & helper in her community, who was a warrior these last years in which she battled with liv
er disease. The Foundation seeks to pay tribute to Evelyn’s (Eva) legacy of kindness, perseverance, and hope by supporting women & children who are most at need , living in homeless shelters , Abuse of DV, and families affected by Homelesness and Addiction. The Foundation supports these missions by:
* Hosting and planning events for the women & children monthly in shelters. Providing them with everyday essentials and an event of fun, laughter, hope, self love, and motivation.
*Partnering with people of the community and organizations who can donate items in which the shelters most needs.
*Raising funds to support future events and future workshops for the women & children living at the shelters . The Evelyn Solis Foundation strives to make a real difference in the lives of the mothers and their families that we touch in the El Paso area and, like Eva we represent a beacon for a better tomorrow by helping out one person at a time.
