Please help us welcome Brenda, EPLN’s very first intern! 👉 Slide to meet her.

Born in El Paso and raised between Guadalajara-Chihuahua MX, California, and Texas, Brenda brings a rich, multicultural perspective to everything she does. She earned her BBA in Entrepreneurship Management with a minor in Marketing and a Certificate in Healthcare Management from UTEP in 2020.

Now, she’s stepping into community leadership through her Borderplex Internship with EPLN, through a two key roles: Finance, Fundraising & Grant Writing and Marketing Position.

In addition to her internship, Brenda was recently appointed as a provisional member to the EPLN Board of Directors, further deepening her commitment to community leadership. She also works as an Educational Coach at EPCC, where she has supported students with disabilities for the past eight years.

This summer, she’ll be taking the lead on fundraising strategy, digital outreach, and organizational storytelling and we couldn’t be more excited.

This opportunity is made possible through the generous support of our sponsors Bank of America and Union Pacific, with collaboration between Workforce Solutions Borderplex, and the Paso del Norte Community Foundation.

We’re thrilled to have Brenda supporting our mission and representing the next generation of changemakers in our city.
