City of El Monte CA Government Memorial Day Ceremony 2026. Thank you to beautiful city for inviting us to take part in today’s event. Our Unit President Gabriella was invited to read the poem “In Flanders Field” by Lt Colonel John McCrae.

District 18 Girls State Tea 2026. Our delegates from last shared their experience with all guests and gave advice to the new delegates attending Girls State in June.

Thank you to our member Veronica who cleaned up grave stones, picked up tree debris, broken glass, ant etc so our nation’s flags could be put on the headstones.

Today our unit member Stephanie teamed up with legionnaire Joe from Post 30 and the scouts to place flags on veterans graves at Pomona Cemetery. Awesome work!
