Hello everyone, Sorry for not posting this year very much. Been focusing on taking in storms this year. Seems like I’ve devoted my time to this page during these events even though that’s the point to warn and inform you on these events. I’ve definitely had time to relax and experience storms a lot more recently. Moving forward I will start posting updates here. I also started a TikTok posting videos from recent and past chases if interested I will leave a link. Thank you all for the support throughout the years. Down below is a couple photos from the Plevna, Kansas tornado on May, 18th. https://www.tiktok.com/?_t=ZP-8wmAhuzvuUp&_r=1

Today's theme for Severe Weather Awareness/Preparedness Week is Tornadoes. There will be a tornado test drill at 10AM; the alert will go out on the NOAA Weather Radio, and you may hear outdoor warning devices/sirens going off. Have a plan of where you will shelter whether you are at home, school, work, etc. The key is to be on the lowest floor in an interior space of the building or in a basement/below ground shelter.

Severe thunderstorm watch has been issued until 3 AM.

An active weather pattern looks to be possible as we head into November. Tomorrow 10/30 the chance for severe storms are possible across the plains with the threat for Hail, Strong winds, and the possibility for isolated tornadoes. Moving on towards the end of the week, rain chances increase with beneficial rainfall as most of these areas need. 2nd image shows how much rain we COULD see ending next Tuesday the 5th of November. More updates on severe weather will be posted.
