The Eagle Foundation Learning Center will be CLOSED July 27-August 7.

Fall registration and scheduling for personal instruction (tutoring), small group learning, and reading intervention begins August 10.

Learning resumes Monday, August 31.

JUNE LITERACY CAMP IS A WRAP AND WAS OCEANS OF FUN!! 🐬

📚 Our 6 EAGLE mentors and 7 young campers explored the big waters for 8 amazing days!

📚 We read about sharks and whales, seahorses and sea turtles, octopuses and crabs, and lots of fish! 🐠

📚 We read fiction and nonfiction, compared and contrasted, expanded our vocabulary, and wrote about what we learned.

📚 For 40 minutes at each station, we worked on sounding out words, recognizing words without sounding them out - whoa! - and reading aloud at a good pace with lots of expression. From oceans to seas, salt water to fresh water, beaches 🏖️ and more, we read and talked and wrote about them all (and found some on a map)! 🧐

📚 Mrs. Suzanne even gave us a mini course on how to properly frost and eat a cupcake. You NEVER take bites out of a cupcake! 🧁

There’s still room for more at the July Literacy Camp! For students who have completed K5, 1st or 2nd grade. Call Ms. Inman for more information! 870-312-6174

Hi! I’m Anna Sellers, and I’m excited to be teaching Life Skills Enrichment this fall at The Eagle Foundation Learning Center! I bring 12 years of experience as a Family and Consumer Science teacher and am excited to help homeschooling students build confidence in practical responsibilities by teaching hands-on skills they can use in everyday life and carry into adulthood. I’m looking forward to partnering with families and being a part of the Eagle community!

Class will meet every Wednesday morning from 8:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

Fall semester class - 7th-9th graders
September 9 - December 16

Spring semester class - 10th-12th graders
January 6 - May 12
