Locking your vehicle every night is one of the simplest and most effective steps you can take to help prevent vehicle break-ins and theft. Always remove valuables such as purses, wallets, electronics, jewelry, fi****ms and other personal property rather than leaving them inside your vehicle or in plain sight. Crime prevention also extends beyond your vehicle - leaving porch lights, driveway lights, and security lighting on at night can make your property less attractive to potential thieves. Lock it, light it and take your valuables inside. Small precautions can make a big difference in keeping your property and our community safe.
