The decline of duck habitat and the continued loss of duck hunters are arguably the two greatest challenges facing our waterfowling heritage. Delta Waterfowl is working for you on both of these critical issues. Delta is putting its resources where they’re needed most—on the breeding grounds. Research continues to confirm that the primary bottleneck for prairie ducks is nest success, hen survival a

nd brood survival. These key factors must be addressed, and will be with your help. Large-scale losses of wetlands and upland nesting cover and run-away predation rates (on nests, hens and duck broods) are the factors most responsible for thinner fall flights. We can do better. The good news: Delta is incorporating its cutting-edge research to learn more about the challenges facing breeding ducks. Delta has developed new tools and management strategies aimed specifically at raising more ducks for duck hunters. Delta continues to explore the potential of predator management and Hen Houses as cost-effective tools to significantly increase duck production and improve fall flights for years to come. Delta Waterfowl is also addressing waterfowl habitat on the U.S. and Canadian breeding grounds. Delta is working on a CRP-like program in Canada called Alternative Land Use Services (ALUS). If we ever hope to fix the “broken” Canadian duck factory, farmer-friendly agricultural policy like ALUS is likely the only way to conserve and enhance enough duck habitat to make that goal become reality. Delta’s staff is committed to pursing common sense public-policy solutions that improve duck habitat and protect hunter access. Delta Waterfowl River Bottom Chapter is honored to host a raffle benefiting sweet Sloane and her family. Sloane has spent much of her young life at Arkansas Children’s and Boston Children’s Hospital undergoing surgeries and receiving specialized care. We are so thankful that she is improving and hopeful that she will be able to go home for the first time in the coming weeks. 🙏🏼

Delta Waterfowl River Bottom Chapter is proud to spend the evening giving back to the next generation - passing out duck calls 🦆 and hats 🧢 to the youth and watching their excitement as they learn more about the outdoors!

We’re also excited to hear from Jase Robertson at the South Arkansas Fishers of Men event Murphy Arts District! 🙌

It’s nights like this that remind us why we do what we do - getting kids outdoors, creating memories, and helping grow the next generation of hunters and conservationists.

It is an honor to recognize Mr. Tommy Taylor for 20 years of dedicated service to the River Bottom Chapter of Delta Waterfowl, waterfowl conservation, and the community he proudly serves.

Tommy Taylor is one of the founding members of the Delta Waterfowl River Bottom Chapter, established in 2005. For the past 20 years, Tommy has served the chapter in various committee roles, advancing to Chairman and currently serving as Vice Chairman.

Throughout his two decades of service, Tommy has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to waterfowl conservation and to the mission of Delta Waterfowl. He has also helped strengthen the local community through the chapter’s many contributions, including support for local shooting programs, scholarships, and community events.

WOW! It was an honor for our Pitard Animal Clinic team to be a small part of such a special night for Saylor and her family. ❤️

🐾 When we heard that a service dog was part of Saylor’s next chapter, we knew exactly how we could help. Pitard Animal Clinic is honored to provide a year of routine veterinary care for Saylor’s future service dog, making sure her new best friend is cared for while he or she takes care of Saylor.

We are so grateful to the River Bottom Delta Waterfowl for bringing our community together in such an incredible way. This weekend was part of what makes our community so special… people showing up, giving generously, and taking care of their own!

What an incredible turnout for the Delta Waterfowl River Bottom Chapter Banquet! We are truly overwhelmed by the support, generosity, and enthusiasm from everyone who came out and helped make this night so special.

Because of YOU, we were able to come together for a great cause, support Saylor, provide hunting opportunities for veterans, and help create unforgettable experiences for youth hunters. 🇺🇸🦆
