Kids ages 5 – 9 attend 45 minute sessions a week: Mondays & Wednesdays or Tuesdays & Thursdays. This year kids may also be registered for all 4 days. The Registration Form lists the reading sites in El Dorado. All sessions are in the afternoon, 1:00 - 1:45 pm and 2:00 - 2:45pm. Kids do not need to live or attend school in El Dorado to attend. However, transportation is not provided. Pre registration is required for children to participate. Registration is May 1 - 25. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to register children online. Details and a hot link to the Registration Form will be available on this page. The deadline to register a child is May 25, 2023. Individuals interested in volunteering as a Reading Buddy need to complete an online Volunteer Application Form. A hot link to the form will be provided here starting May 1, 2023. This year stipends for volunteers are $15 per hour.
