Donations are what makes this clothes closet for youth in crisis possible. Thank you to everyone who helps keep us full and ready to help! The most common reasons we get requests are house fires and children entering the foster care system. Here is our current needs list, we are only able to accept items listed below. UPDATE: ALSO WE ARE OUT OF SIZE 12 GIRLS YOUTH PANTS - HELP!
Friends we are in need of several items but especially mens small and medium athletic pants and socks. If you have any to donate, please DM us or Christina Jones Casey to arrange for pick up. If you wish to donate, we put these on an Amazon Registry, you can click and ship it directly to us. But we are happy to accept used athletic/lounge type pants as long as they are in good condition. Socks need to be in the package for hygiene reasons. Our complete Needs list is below; the items we most urgently need are highlighted. Your support is so greatly appreciated!

UPDATE: We have received enough donated hangers. Thank you!
Here is our updated needs list! Our most urgent needs are highlighted in yellow. We also need more plastic, adult size hangers badly. If you have some to donate please DM us.
We continue to support local youth in crisis, as well as the El Dorado Springs school district's Bright Futures program when needed and possible.

We can always accept underwear and socks (MUST BE NEW IN PACKAGE), and shoes - shoes must be gym class appropriate.

*** All clothes must be school appropriate and age appropriate
*** All underwear and socks must be new in unopened packages
*** We are able to accept backpacks, toiletries and hygiene products
*** We are full otherwise and can only accept what we need. If you have other things to donate, feel free to DM and we can suggest other local groups who accept donations.

We need around 40 baby hangers and 12 regular hangers. These are for winter coats so please no wire hangers. If anyone is able to donate some, please drop off at the Lions Clubhouse 1109 S Jackson between 5:30p-7p tonight, or DM us to make other arrangements. Thank you!

💞 thank you El Dorado Springs 💞 shoe donations have been challenging to get since day #1. Thanks to some generous donations we have received over the past few months, we now have a good supply of women's shoes size 9 and larger. We will stop collecting those sizes until we have a need again. We do still need shoes in all other sizes, adult and child, and must be in good usable condition and appropriate for school gym class. Please think of us if you're out shopping and wish to purchase a pair to donate, or if your family outgrew any while they were still in good shape, etc
Our current greatest shoe needs are:
Boys: CRITICAL NEED, ALL TODDLER AND YOUTH SIZES
Girls: CRITICAL NEED, ALL TODDLER AND YOUTH SIZES
Womens sizes 4-8
Mens 6-8

We strive to operate solely on clothing donations, but sometimes we do have to purchase items to fill in the gaps! 🩵 THANK YOU 🩵 to those who have made financial donations to the closet - we used some funds today to shop for needed sizes. We were especially low on size Small boys' items due to some recent requests. Our current needs include:

🔵 Girls tops and pants, all sizes and especially L and XL
🔵 Girls 3T, 4T and 5T clothes
🔵 Boys t-shirts 8/10 or medium
🔵 Boys pants sizes 6 and up / S - M - L - XL
🔵 Adult size hoodies for our teens
🔵 Mens t-shirts size S-M
🔵 Mens underwear, all sizes
🔵 Mens athletic pants, all sizes especially small and medium
🔵 Women's athletic pants and leggings, all sizes

We can always accept underwear, socks, and shoes - shoes must be gym class appropriate. We need any/all shoe sizes other than womens sized 9 and larger. DM us to arrange pick up for your donation!

✔️ WE ARE AT MAXIMUM CAPACITY FOR ANY OTHER SIZES/ITEMS and can only accept the above listed items. If you have other things to donate,. Treasure Hunt on Broadway (which helps fund a local shelter) and the Fostering Hope clothes closet in Sheldon (which provides clothes to foster youth in four counties including Cedar) are two local organizations we recommend for your consideration.
