Biking Across Kansas returns THIS WEEKEND!

Last night we installed new officers, inducted three new members, and gave out awards. Lion Chris Keith received Lion of the Year. Lion David Barger received our Heart-of-a-Lion award. Lion David Barger also received the Melvin Jones Award. This is a very prestigious honor and we are very proud of him. Congratulations to all. We welcome our new members with open arms and wish our new officers all the best this next year. Thank you to District Governor Paula for doing this for us.

Ava Lions Club is sponsoring an Eye Mission and are needing volunteers. If anyone wants to help or needs a vision or hearing screening please stop by the MOCH Wellness Center in Ava on May 16th from 10-2. Also fee free to share this out so others know what’s happening.

El Dorado Lions and Lions family members showed up Saturday morning, despite it being wet and chilly, to clean up the park. They picked up trash and sticks and overall improved the park for the community.
