When this page was begun, it was thought this tool would be useful to residents of The Summit as a forum, but the community never embraced or used the page.

Therefore, at the end of August, this page will be closed, as Nextdoor and other means of social communication have proven to be more useful to residents of The Summit.

There's been a lot of buzz in the village of Lake Forest, of late, about all the deer and turkeys foraging and on streets. Please be watchful and cautious when driving, as they're out in large numbers, right now.

Tomorrow night (Thurs.) is the annual meeting of The Summit. However, as of 5 p.m. Today, only 40 owners have sent in ballots. Meaning that if 11 owners don't show tomorrow night, the election has to be run all over again, costing everyone for another election, election officials, mailings, meeting space, etc. So, if you have a ballot, please fill it out, enclose it in the second envelope, sign the cover envelope and get it to a board member or Kocal before 7 p.m. Tomorrow, or we will have wasted lots of money, that comes out of all of our pockets.
