Cannabis affects more than how you feel in the moment. There are many mental health risks, such as developing depression or more serious issues like schizophrenia. Alcohol affects more than just your body. Research finds that it can impact your mood, relationships, and even your wallet. People who drink regularly or irresponsibly are more at risk for mental health issues, such as depression or anxiety. Relationships may be affected due to isolation or partaking in high-risk behaviors, which can be linked to the inhibited decision-making. Drinking adds up way faster than you think and can put a dent in your wallet.
