Announcement of the Upcoming UCLA PEERS® Clinic Cohorts

Please see the information below from the UCLA PEERS® Clinic regarding upcoming cohorts for the PEERS® for Careers Employment-Related Social Skills Program.

The UCLA PEERS® Clinic is excited to share that the next cohort of the PEERS® for Careers Employment-Related Social Skills Program will begin in June 2026!

This 16-week evidence-based social skills program is designed to teach essential skills for finding and maintaining employment in meaningful careers.

Program details:

16-week program
Weekly 2.5-hour sessions
Online (over Zoom)
Topics include: choosing a career, resume development, conversational skills, electronic communication, professional networking, interviewing, requesting accommodations, organizational skills, stress management, and handling disagreements in the workplace disagreements.

Through collaboration with the California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) Student Services, eligible participants can attend at no cost.

To participate in this cohort of PEERS® for Careers, you must:

Be 18-21 years old
Live in California
Identify as autistic
Be enrolled in a college or educational program
Have a documented disability (e.g., IEP/504)
Be willing to become a DOR client (support will be provided through that process, if needed)
Be available Tuesday late afternoons/evenings from mid-June through September
