What is HOPE? HOPE represents a paradigm shift in how we see and talk
about the positive experiences that support children’s growth and development into healthy, and resilient adults.
This nationally recognized training, can provide Supervised Visitation Providers with a perspective that allows a positive reframe in your work. Utilizing this positive approach in your intake and service contracts, can help to anticipate and mitigate challenges within the supervised visit. Please fill out the following form to register. You will receive the zoom link and handouts for this training prior to the actual day of the training.

Participants who complete this training can receive a certificate from CASVSP indicating continuing education credits (CE’s).

🌟 Choosing the Right Supervised Visitation Provider in California 🌟

Not all supervised visitation providers are created equal. 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝟱.𝟮𝟬 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲 §𝟯𝟮𝟬𝟬.𝟱, families have the right to expect professionalism, safety, and compliance from all persons providing services for purposes of professional supervised visitation services.

Before blindly selecting a provider from a list, here are key things you should look for:

✅ TrustLine Registry Verification – Ensures the provider has cleared background checks and is approved to work with children.

✅ Proof of Training – Ask for documentation showing completion of a Qualified Educational Program that meets CA requirements.

✅ Consistent & Positive Reviews – Look for feedback from other families that reflects reliability, professionalism, and integrity.

✅ Experience & Professionalism – Providers should demonstrate neutrality, patience, and strong communication skills.

✅ Compliance with Standards 5.20 – Confirm they follow California’s requirements for record-keeping, safety, and confidentiality.

👨‍👩‍👧 Choosing wisely helps protect your child’s well-being and ensures visits are safe, positive, and consistent and properly documented.
