Saturday December 9th East County Christmas for Kids gave out 2,000 gifts, Books, Food, and time with Santa Clause and his beautiful Elk at the El Cajon Elks Lodge. Picture of the mighty team. Special thanks to the Mir Mar young Marines in distributing food to the families. Thanks to Feeding San Diego for the food donations. Marine Corps Toys for Tots and Saint Luke’s Catholic Church, Cajon Valley School District for all the help in making Christmas so special for the families of East County of San Diego.

This Tuesday, December 10, we begin wrapping presents for this year's Toys for Tots distribution in East County. Toys are picked up and brought to the El Cajon Elks Lodge Tuesday morning, and wrapping will begin that afternoon until 9 pm. We continue Weds, Thurs, and Friday until the 1000's of gifts are wrapped and sorted by gender and age range. Come help!! 1400 East Washington, El Cajon. Non-Elk friends: Tell them Susan Jimenez sent you!

Planning has begun for this year's event. Volunteers are needed beginning in late October for data entry. Wrapping begins on December 11th for December 16th distribution.

In 2017 we partnered with the El Cajon Elks Lodge #1812. They opened their doors to the event, and the logistics were fantastic.
