Portland Prairie 4-H Club Elects New Officers
Members of the Portland Prairie 4-H Club met on Sunday, October 12, at the Amundson Family Farm in rural Eitzen to hold their annual election of officers for the upcoming year. Families gathered to celebrate a year filled with learning, leadership, and community involvement.
The newly elected officers are as follows:
President: Tyler Hoscheit
Vice President: Ella Burrichter
Secretary: Peyton Hoscheit
Treasurer: Beth Myhre
Reporter/Historian: Jurnee Adamson and Madelyn Amundson
Outgoing officers were recognized for their dedication and hard work throughout the past year. Members reflected on club highlights, including participation at the Houston County Fair, community service projects, and special events hosted throughout the year.
“Our 4-H members continue to show great leadership and teamwork,” said Club Leader Amy Adamson. “It’s inspiring to watch them take pride in their projects and serve their community.”
The Portland Prairie 4-H Club, the oldest 4-H club in Houston County, is part of the Houston County 4-H program and welcomes new members throughout the year.
