Yesterday two of our founding members used their dowsing skills on our new freshwater spring, with Earth Acupuncture and Tensor Rings. Then we welcomed some of our amazing neighbors and friends to help bless the spring. It's so great to have found our tribe, those who understand how nature talks to us, and show up to help us help her heal!

3 yrs ago this month, we weren't even on the land yet, and we hosted 3 WWOOF interns who came individually from April to May for about a week each. We were so brand new, we didn't have any water or electric onsite. Just 2 empty yurts, and big dreams. 🙏🏼♥️

Our mama Ethel had her twins yesterday!! Both healthy and so stinkin' cute! 💓
Ethel is a "Nigora" - half Nigerian Dwarf (dairy), half Angora (fiber). This is her 3rd birth, and she's a really great mama!

Ongoing since Feb, our latest yurt addition comes from the Hartley's first build in NC, a little 16'er that they've been (re)building a foundation for - finished today! It's a good feeling, this is the hardest part of a yurt raising- a strong foundation.

This is the 4th yurt build on Shambhala, and will be for intern housing, and we're excited- our 1st long term intern arrives today! Just in time to help us build the yurt he'll be staying in.

We didn't intend for Shambhala to be a smurfy yurt village, but sure looks like birds of a feather flock together! 🛖🛖🛖🛖🍄🍄🍄🍄

Winter's White returned today, for a brief visit. Whether you wanted her or not! So we pivot. And protect the pears. 🙏🏼🌀 I love working with our arbor friends, they give you a feeling of gratitude. Send them love tonight if you can, friends, these poor pears were rained on, snowed on, lightly frozen, and now dropping to 20°. 2 nights. 🍐🍐🍐

We are gearing up for another great year of expansion, with our first intern arriving just over a week from today! We're excited for what's on the horizon, and always welcome the support of our followers, friends, and fellow Earth Warriors to help us fuel our mission of sovereignty and sustainability!
