Hermes is shocked (yes, shocked) that he has not had one single application for adoption.

This sweet boy arrived at our shelter when his military family was no longer able to take care of him.

He is a sweet and quiet boy who would love a home with either older children (who love cats) or no kids.

He gets along with the other cats in our cat room and just loves a quiet spot to nap and watch the world go by.

Hermes is neutered up-to-date on shots and tests and has been micro chipped and seen by our vet

We are so excited to officially welcome Pathum into his new role as Chairman of Pet Welfare and as the youngest Chairman in our history! ❤️

Pathum is incredibly kind, compassionate, and always ready to lend a hand. While working full-time for the USAF Civil Service and serving as the director of a charity supporting at-risk students for nearly a decade, he has somehow found time to pour even more of himself into helping our animals and our community.

His love for animals runs deep. He currently has two cats, including one Pet Welfare alum, and has opened his home to foster both cats and dogs. 🏡🐾

As someone who is young, passionate, and bringing a fresh set of eyes to Pet Welfare, we’re excited to see the ideas, energy, and heart he brings to our shelter. And if you know Pathum, you know there’s one word you’re guaranteed to hear when things don’t go quite as planned: “Nuggets!” 😂❤️

In his own words:

“In the few whirlwind months I have spent at Pet Welfare, I have grown to care deeply for our mission, our amazing volunteers, and our wonderful animals. We face tough times ahead but we will overcome them and Pet Welfare will thrive. I look forward to working with everyone and seeing what we can accomplish, together!”

Our kitten room is bursting and we’d love to introduce you to our newest residents!

Cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested, vaccinated, and microchipped, and have been seen by our vet! 

If kittens aren’t your thing, we have some wonderful older kitties, and even a few seniors who would love to find their special person! Could that be you?

If you're looking for a chill and relaxed companion, Jake is your cat!

This sweet kitty was rescued from a home with over 20 other kitties. As a result, he's very tolerant of other cats and would probably fit in well with any feline-loving home after proper introductions. We think he'd be fine in a home with cat-friendly kids or as an only cat. As long as there's a sunny window to look out of, and a comfortable perch or two, Jake will be right at home.

Jake is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and he's been examined and tested by our vet. Come over and meet Jake at Pet Welfare. He'll steal your heart!
