We’re so happy to help get Bailee on the road! 💗🚲
Thanks to our friends at WNY Trendy Trikes-AMBUCS, we were able to donate a specialized adaptive trike to Bailee and her family. Bailee was on WNY Trendy Trikes’ wish list, and we were so glad to help bring her trike to life.
Adaptive trikes can cost nearly $3,000, creating a huge barrier for many families. For Bailee, this trike means being able to ride, play, and enjoy the freedom of a bike.
“The trike is very important because Bailee can’t physically keep her feet on the pedals to actually move a standard bike,” her mom shared. “We are going to ride the trike the rest of the summer, and this helps us tremendously.”
As Blue Hannon, Executive Director of Wheels for Workers 716, said, “We pride ourselves on being part of the larger cycling community and feel it’s part of our mission to get as many people on bikes as possible regardless of their circumstances.”
